Our Year in Review - 2016

Update: The Australian and New Zealand operations of Bibby Financial Services were acquired by Scottish Pacific Business Finance in late 2015 to create Australia’s largest non-bank invoice finance specialist. Welcome to our website.

I would like to start by wishing you and your families a Merry Christmas and best wishes for the festive season.

As I reflect back, 2016 has been a tumultuous 12 months at Scottish Pacific and I am sure all that has been going on within our company has had some impact on you, our clients.

In January we started merging two of the largest debtor finance businesses in Australia and New Zealand. In May, we took on the debtor finance portfolios of Suncorp-Metway and GE Capital.

All this saw Scottish Pacific go from a company with 1000 clients and about 150 staff to over 1700 clients and 270 staff.

Such change cannot happen without some disruption to business as usual activities. Therefore I acknowledge that the level of service you have received may not have been to the standards you expect.

I know our staff on the ground are, even now, still looking to initiate change that can help deliver better service and not just meet your needs, but exceed them.

For this reason, I would ask you to make sure that your Scottish Pacific Group contact is aware of how we can improve the service we provide, for it is those staff that we empower to drive change.

Scottish Pacific now has clients with facilities as low as $10,000, up to $80 million. Today we lend over $1 billion to a whole variety of clients.

We are passionate about assisting businesses. Our Vision is

“To be the first choice in assisting SMEs to increase their cash flow and achieve their aspirations”

Today, as a much larger organisation, we have more products, support a wider market than ever before and are continuously investing in new ways to service the funding needs of businesses.

Into 2017 and beyond, we will continue to service the needs of our clients. We can best do that by asking you for feedback. So please don’t be shy, we want to know what you think.

Finally, I must say a thank you to all of you for your support. I appreciate what it is to run your own business and respect the sacrifices our clients make to invest in their business and I am proud to be CEO of a company helping SMEs and their owners to achieve their aspirations.

I look forward to continuing to work with you in 2017.
