What is Debt Factoring?
Often referred to as full service debtor financing, debt factoring provides a line of credit to businesses, secured against their outstanding accounts receivable.
How does it work?
The process is simple. You invoice your customer directly, and upload the invoice to us at the same time. Within 24 hours we will pay 80% of the value of approved invoices, less our fees. The remaining 20% becomes available to you when the invoice is paid in full.
Who does it suit?
Small to medium sized businesses from start-up through to rapid growth, or even those navigating their way through a turnaround situation. Limited companies, sole traders and partnerships are all eligible for this type of facility.

What are the benefits?
- Real Estate security is not required
- Facility limits grow in line with business revenues, so there is no requirement for regular re-negotiation during periods of expansion
- Our comprehensive collections service frees up small business owners to focus on growing their business without the distraction of having to chase up slow-paying customers
Will my customers be notified?
Full Service facilities are disclosed, which means that your customers will be made aware of Scottish Pacific’s involvement at the outset and ongoing as invoices are raised and reminder letters and statements are issued.
