Update: The Australian and New Zealand operations of Bibby Financial Services were acquired by Scottish Pacific Business Finance in late 2015 to create Australia’s largest non-bank invoice finance specialist. Welcome to our website.

Scottish From Static to StrengthWhy Selective Invoice Finance?

This specialist provider of site inspection and testing services and labour hire to the construction and mining services sectors in NSW was projecting $1m turnover for the financial year. After a period of lean sales it was starting to experience a return to strong growth, with a number of larger opportunities from its major clients (major mining and resources companies) starting to materialise.

There was just one issue. They didn't have the cash flow to take advantage of these opportunities. Rather than turn away business, the Directors, who has been self funding, explored options to boost working capital quickly to help fund the new work. Selective Invoice Finance was considered a excellent solution in the interim as a means to experience invoice financing.

Why Scottish Pacific?

Scottish Pacific was able to approve a Selective Invoice Finance facility which generated enough cash to enable the business to meet the orders and pay down the tax debt that had been making it difficult to secure long term funding. Having overcome the urgent requirement for funding, the business is now looking at a more permanent solution with Scottish Pacific's debtor finance facilities which will see the funding available increase in line with sales.
