Update: The Australian and New Zealand operations of Bibby Financial Services were acquired by Scottish Pacific Business Finance in late 2015 to create Australia’s largest non-bank invoice finance specialist. Welcome to our website.

golfdayThe QLD office had a cracking day at their third annual ‘Friends of Scottish Pacific’ Charity Golf Day which was held at Pacific Golf Club on 24th October 2016. For the second year running, the purpose of the event was to raise funds for Aspirations 4 Kids in Sport (previously known as Future State Greats), which is Queensland’s chosen charity.

Mother Nature turned on some beautiful Spring weather as 47 of our clients, introducers and staff spent a fabulous day on the course.

At the Post Golf Function Grant and Julie-Anne from Aspirations from Kids in Sport were in attendance with special guest of honour 2016 Rio Paralympic Gold Medallist Lakeisha “Lucky” Patterson. Lucky is one of the charity’s success stories and came along to share her story. It was awesome for all attendees to be able to hear firsthand what a difference the money that was raised can make in young people’s lives. Lucky even bought along her 6 medals she won from the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.

Even though Lucky travelled all the way from the Sunshine Coast, on a school night and had to forfeit her swimming training to be there, she said she was always more than willing to help out Aspirations 4 Kids in Sport because she was so grateful for everything they had done for her and her family. Such a humble and inspiring young lady.

Through 14 generous golf hole sponsors, made up of clients and introducers, raffle tickets sold and auction items bought, we managed to raise an incredible $8,670 for Aspirations 4 Kids in Sport.

The QLD office is keen to start planning next year’s golf day bigger and better and raise even more money for this wonderful cause.
