SP 30yr AUS

Update: The Australian and New Zealand operations of Bibby Financial Services were acquired by Scottish Pacific Business Finance in late 2015 to create Australia’s largest non-bank invoice finance specialist. Welcome to our website.

SP G20One of our Scottish Pacific QLD staff, Sabrina Swatton, has been a SES volunteer since 2010.

A not-for-profit, community, volunteer, emergency service organisation that is enabled by both State and local governments. SES shares its highly recognised name with States and Territory State Emergency Service (SES) organisations throughout Australia. With approximately 6,000 active, unpaid members the SES performs a diverse range of functions to respond to local, State and National disasters and emergencies.

Sabrina has been a part of the teams involved in emergency response assistance for a number of major QLD weather events which include those affected by the SE QLD floods, Cyclone Yasi in Innisfail and Cairns and the major storm in Bundaberg in 2013. She was also involved in the Daniel Morcombe search as well as general emergency response call outs.

She recently received an award for her volunteer services as part of the G20 Summit security in 2014, assisting the QLD Police. She was on the street when Obama went past – with about six hummer vehicles, tight security plus an Ambulance and a fire truck.

Sabrina is one of many employees who utilise the Scottish Pacific program that allows all employees to have a paid annual Volunteers’ Day to give back to a charity or community organisation. Congratulations Sabrina for being recognised for your dedication and support.
